For Immediate Release

Itronix, manufacturers of the world’s most rugged laptop have agreed to supply the operating system of the worlds most rugged and high tech concept police vehicle.  During the past several months Finish Line Motorsports has been searching for a rugged computer to operate the “tronics” inside the Ford Excursion built as the “ultimate” tactical command vehicle.

“We have been on an exhaustive search for a compact computer to operate our surveillance cameras, peripherals, mapping and logistic programs, GPS, real time internet access security system” Andy Cohen told Motor1.com during an interview revealing the choice for an extremely exotic and futuristic police vehicle.  “I lost track of how many hours I spent listening to sales people spew company propaganda”.

It was during the recent Cops West Expo held in Ontario, California that Mr. Cohen met with representatives of Itronix.  “I was walking by the (Itronix) booth and I noticed a laptop inside a ten gallon fish tank, it was half submerged with water being sprayed on it and I thought to myself, I’ve gotta know if this is a joke”.  It was no joke as Yvonna Ghazaleh-Thompson, Regional sales manager and Norman Glock, Technical services manager walked Mr. Cohen through a demonstration that he would not soon forget.  “I think the one thing that to this day still stands out in my mind was how nice they were”.  “Knowledge of your product is great, but that only gets you so far with me”, Cohen said.

Cohen had originally only planned to spend a few minutes at the booth to satisfy his curiosity but forty-five minutes later Cohen walked away impressed.  “I didn’t feel like I was being sold, Norman the technical guy actually had a personality.  I was impressed with the caliber of people representing the company”.  It was later that evening that Mr. Cohen visited the Itronix website and was able to get a bigger picture of the company and its products and services.

“I guess the funny thing about spending the time with Yvonna and Norman was that I didn’t walk away with questions, I walked away with answers.  To me that’s worth more than one hundred salespeople”

Motor1.com will have the first pictures and a review of the Itronix laptop installed inside Operation M.O.U.T.  in the meantime please visit the company’s website at www.itronix.com

Use without permission really pisses us off and causes us to call our lawyers.  If you want to use pictures or likeness' of our vehicles all ya gotta do is ask and let us know where to find it.  We're really a pretty easy going bunch of people but we spend a lot of money on our vehicles and ideas and our attorneys tell us stuff like that is against the law allowing us to sue you for lots of money...yadda, yadda, yadda.  Is this a great country or what?
