Tundra owners that are looking to raise the altitude of their vehicle can now have their cake and eat it too.  The folks at REVTEK have come to the rescue and designed a very nice billet aluminum spacer system that looks and fits like it was designed by NASA engineers.

We followed along as Glenn, our Toyota Editor-at-large in Tampa, Florida installs the REVTEK suspension.

The REVTEK kit comes with everything you need to lift your Tundra.  We didn't have to make any unscheduled runs to the auto parts store.

I am not going to bore with the details of getting the front shocks out, if you cant figure this out you should definitely not be doing this job.

Remember to secure the truck with jack stands so it doesn't fall on you while you working under it.

The only thing we didn't have was a high quality spring compressor.  You absolutely need this to perform the job.  We cruised over to the local Firestone had the coils removed so we could install the supplied spacers.

This may go without saying but under no circumstances should you attempt to remove the coil without a coilspring compressor, injury is guaranteed, death is highly possible.

REVTEK supplies longer bolts for the spring plate, the old ones are merely beat out with a hammer and the new ones are reinstalled the same way.  Watch those fingers!

Now, just like installing a shock the completed unit goes in much like it came out.  I'm not gonna lie to you, this is actually the hardest part of the job, because the spring assembly is longer it will take some coercion to get installed.

A large friend will come in handy right about now as he will need to stand on the hub to push the lower control down as far as it will go and then some.

The rear is actually easier than the front as you don't need a coilspring compressor.

A jack and two jackstands will do nicely.

The kit comes with a piece of flat steel with holes drilled in to relocate the brake load sensor.  Remove the two bolts and let it hang freely, you will come back to this last.

Remove the bottom shock bolts so the rear end can drop down as necessary to accommodate the rear blocks.

Here is the longer bracket for the load sensor.

Loosen the U-Bolts on both sides and remove them.

Install the REVTEK block with the tapered end facing the front of the truck.  This is done to reduce the driveline angle and vibration.
